Hunter's Biography
Hello guys. I would first
of all like to thank you for your continued
support
for me. I am dedicating this page to my family,
friends, and fans.
I realize that many fans
would like to get to know me on a more personal
basis, and I am going to attempt to answer some
of the FAQ's that I receive. I also have a blog:

that I update weekly on the b5media.com site.
I am proud to be a native
Texan. I was born in Fort Worth, Texas on April
13, 1983 at All Saints hospital. I lived there
until I was 4 years old when my family and I
moved to Denver, Colorado. We lived in Denver
for one year and moved to Waxahachie, Texas. I
went to school there for the first 6 years of my
education.
We moved to Arlington,
Texas, the place that I call home, in the middle
of my 5th grade year. I attended
Arlington High School and lettered 2 years on
the Colt baseball team. I attended Texarkana
Jr. College for one year, and was drafted by the
Milwaukee Brewers in the 40th round in June. I
decided to return to home to the University of
Texas Arlington for two years and had the
opportunity to play with my older brother at the
collegiate level. In 2004, during my junior
campaign in college, my life long dream of
playing professional baseball came true. I was
ecstatic to be drafted in the second round by
the Houston Astros. My agent and I thought that
I would be taken in the third round by the
Mariners.
I began my pro career by
playing in the New York Penn League for the
Tri-City ValleyCats. I then spent my first full
season split between Lexington, Kentucky in the
South Atlantic League and the Salem Avalanche in
the Carolina League. I played my second full
season in AA with the Corpus Christi Hooks where
we captured the Texas League Championship. Last
season I began the year with the Round Rock
Express, AAA, and on April 27th I was called up
to the big leagues.
My interests off the field
of baseball consist of a variety of activities.
I enjoy spending
time with my family as much as possible. Being
around those who love and support me no matter
what happens is always a blessing in my
opinion. I enjoy watching movies, listening to
music of all varieties, eating at new
restaurants, playing video games with my
friends, and playing ping-pong. I am extremely
competitive and thrive on finding activities
that are interactive and challenging.
I would like to welcome you to my site, and I
invite you to contact me with any questions you
have. I will do my best to get a question and
answer system running. Currently I am focusing
on generating support for Happy Hills Farm in
Granbury, Texas.
It is a great program that aids children who
need a safe place to live. Feel free to contact
me for more information.
